Portrait of Deanna Martin

A Down-to-Earth, Genuine Therapist

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years of experience helping people heal from major life stressors and mental health symptoms. My approach is warm, collaborative, and down to earth. Together, we’ll understand what’s happening and find practical ways to help you feel better.

I’m trained in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, ACT, ERP, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Positive Therapy. I use a flexible approach tailored to your goals—not a one-size-fits-all plan.

I help people with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, OCD, grief, relationship and work stress, menopause and women’s issues, trauma, life transitions, substance-use concerns affecting families, and anger management.

In addition to my training & experience, my clients consistently describe me as down to earth, nonjudgmental and genuine. I bring a sense of humor and warmth to all sessions. I also am a huge animal lover and you may occasionally see my cats, Maximus & Spartacus, on screen. They've both become rather famous for bringing smiles to clients over the years!

Commonly Asked Questions

I offer Individual Therapy for adults age 18 and above via telehealth/secure video calls only. Many clients find online therapy just as effective as in-person.

What services do you offer?

Do you take my health insurance?

I am in-network with Cigna, Aetna, and 1199 SEIU plans. If I am out of network, I provide clients with a superbill for insurance reimbursement. I do my best to help clients understand their behavioral health benefits.

How long is a typical course of therapy?

Most clients begin to see results within the first few months. From there, we evaluate your progress and decide together the frequency/duration of therapy. You are 100% in control.

Do you offer a lower/sliding scale fee?

Yes. For clients who do not have health insurance or decide to not use it, I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots based on financial need.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have

insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical

items and services.

• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total

expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes

related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and

hospital fees.

• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate

in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item.

You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you

choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or

service.

• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith

Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
